From concept to creation: Launching the updated KFC Tower Burger range

Tried out the new KFC Tower Burger range? ITG were instrumental in delivering the halo of tech-enabled, agile content needed for its launch, from photography at Capture Studios to rolling out the campaign across multiple digital and print touchpoints.

The Tower Burger range at KFC took the brand’s existing (and much-loved) Fillet Tower and added two delicious new additions – the Zinger Supercharger Tower and BBQ Fillet Tower.

ITG were briefed to produce the full creative concept for the updated range and deliver the halo of engaging, tech-enabled, agile content required to activate it across KFC’s channels.

This began with a shoot at our state-of-the-art Capture Studios, photographing all variants of the Tower burger to use across KFC’s restaurant touchpoints.

With photography delivered by our expert Capture team, we were able to delve further into the creative concept and landed on a route incorporating the epic hero images we’d shot, a spotlight effect to reinforce the sheer height and scale of the burgers, and that instantly recognisable red KFC background.

Our concept was then translated into channel-specific content across a wide range of digital and print touchpoints, including animated digital screens, animated menu takeovers, web assets, banners, window posters and drive-thru posters.

The campaign has already had a big impact in KFC’s restaurants, and the brand are thrilled with the work we produced.
