We recently worked with Co-op on a project that felt especially meaningful.
Their LGBTQ+ employee network — originally called RESPECT — has played an important role in creating an inclusive culture across the business.
As Co-op updated its overall branding, it felt like the right time to revisit the network’s identity as well. The goal was to create something that better reflected where the network is now, and where it’s heading.
A name that says it all
Our brief was to create a new name and look for the network — something that felt inclusive, modern, and proud.
After plenty of collaboration and creative thinking, Co-op PRISM felt like the perfect fit. Like the shape itself, it represents light, color, and visibility — values that sit at the heart of the LGBTQ+ community.
The name also carries a deeper meaning: it’s a nod to the support the network offers during tough times, and it stands for the values it champions — Proud, Respectful, Inclusive, Supportive, and Meaningful; PRISM.
Here’s what we delivered:
- A bold new name and logo: PRISM
- Clear brand guidelines to help the team roll it out smoothly
- A set of assets, including an updated employee newsletter
We handled everything in-house — from design to delivery — working closely with Co-op every step of the way to make sure it felt right.
What made this one special?
PRISM has already given the network a renewed sense of energy, visibility, and pride.
This was more than just a rebrand. It was a chance to help bring visibility to a community, celebrate diversity, and show how powerful inclusive design can be.
This project also reflected everything we value at ITG:
- We dream big: From the start, this wasn’t just a rebrand — it was a chance to create something meaningful and lasting.
- We think differently: We looked beyond the expected to deliver an identity that felt bold, inclusive, and rooted in purpose.
- We’re stronger together: Collaboration was at the heart of this project — working closely with Co-op every step of the way.
Kind words from the client
“Working with ITG on this project has been great from start to finish. They understood what we wanted (before even I knew what that was myself), kept me well informed throughout the process and in the end they created some amazing designs to choose from. Their support has been invaluable, with the team being key in reinvigorating Co-op’s LGBTQ+ employee network with a new sense of purpose and identity to match.”
